I am Israel Kamara, and my journey from Sierra Leone to the United Kingdom shaped both my life and my writing. Emigrating in my mid-30s allowed me to pursue my passion for children's literature while continuing my career in education. I hold a BTEC Certificate from Lewisham College, a BA (Hons) degree from London South Bank University, and postgraduate qualifications, including a Postgraduate Certificate in Children's Literature from Oxford Brookes University. At Gramath Enterprises International Ltd, I combine my teaching and writing to create stories that inspire curiosity and imagination in young readers.
